The Forge offers 3200 sq feet of event space. With exposed brick walls, open-beam ceiling, original pine floors, and unparalleled views of the Bill Emerson Bridge. Flexible enough to host relaxed and elegant gatherings; the Forge features a large front room great for dining and dancing. The same warm feeling flows into the rear of the building where a large bar and comfortable sitting area awaits; it's the perfect spot for sharing stories and drinks.
The Forge Venue is $1,200 per evening. A nonrefundable $600 dollar deposit is required to reserve the space and the balance is due the evening of your event.
Our location makes for easy, fast delivery and set up for local caterers. We have developed strong relationships with many of the area restaurants and are happy to make recommendations.
At the Forge we realize every event and budget is different so we have made the bar a la Carte. Many options are available.
The Forge can seat 80-100 people comfortably.
We provide WIFi and password to accommodate streaming of Videos, Music etc.
The parking at the Forge is ample. We have space for several cars on our premisses and we are zoned for on street parking as well.
Located in old town Cape, this historic structure is a block from Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus. Housed in a former feed and seed store, where owner, Steve Watkins, and his father, purchased horse feed during his childhood years. Watkins has reimagined the old feed store into an eclectic, comfortable venue. Maintaining original pine floors, and exposed brick walls, the space is divided by two beautiful barn doors to reveal a large, open front room. At the rear space, a more intimate area is home to a custom-designed bar and vintage feed mixers.
Located a block from Southeast Missouri State’s River Campus, the Forge is within walking distance of the Mighty Mississippi River and Cape’s historic downtown.
